I got Stuck
I got stuck! 😅 It was Friday the 13th at the Melt into Yin retreat: Rest and Ritual, we were embracing our inner (and outer) goddess. We went into a squat position call it Goddess pose or Malayan (yogi squat) and when it was time to get up, my legs were frozen and wouldn’t move.
Has this happened to you? Have you ever been frozen?
We have times in life where we get stuck. What do we do? Here are the 3 things I did when I got stuck.
I didn’t take myself too seriously, can you see the laugh. I knew that if I had been hard on myself, it wouldn’t have helped me get up.
I asked for help. This is something I struggle to do. With the support of the whole group around me and @kelly helping me up, I was able to accept her help.
I practiced some deep breathing to gather the strength to get up (with support of course).
Remember, when you get stuck, you have choices and it’s not the end of the world. Lean into your support, laugh if you need to and breathe. Getting stuck might just be a way you create the change you desire.
