Hello Fall
I’ve been reflecting this week on the summer and things that have happened over the last 3 months. My business has been rebranded, I’ve rebuilt my website twice and am in the process of refining offers. One of the things I’ve kept saying over the last few weeks is that I want this, the way I’m living, to be my life. Here’s the thing. It is my life.
At the beginning of October, I’m leaving for some extended travel. This feels exciting and unreal. Other than summers, I’ve never been able to travel for longer than a week during the school year. I’ll be gone 2 weeks. One week in Florida visiting with one of the most amazing people I know (a story for another time). Then I’m off to a yin yoga retreat in California followed by a couple of beach days. I’m really looking forward to the escape and recharge.
So, on the Autumn Equinox. Equinox’s are all about renewal. I love fall and all that it represents. Remember in our lives, as with nature, we’re not meant to bloom all of the time. This is a time of setting intentions for the coming winter, a time of gratitude and reflection over what has transpired so far during the year.
I have so much gratitude for all that has transpired over the last year. I’m grateful I was able to leave teaching, I’m grateful I’m able to do this work and for the clients who trust me. I’m grateful for my tiny living and continuing to downsize.
What does the equinox mean to you? What are you grateful for?
